-The ratio of skater to coach is approximately 2:1

-Prerequisite: Completed Stage 4 of CanSkate

-Program Length: 2 days per week

-Basic figure skating skills taught by NCCP certified coaches in a group format

-Skaters can move into the STARSkate program at any time

-Ages: 11 to 17

-Program Length: 45 minutes

-Taught by NCCP certified coaches and trained program assistants

-Prerequisite: Able to skate forwards and be familiar with backwards skating

-Program Length: 45 minutes

-Professional coaches will teach basic skating skills necessary for hockey and ringette.

Private one-on-one instruction is available for hockey/ringette players for all levels. Lessons are generally taught in 30 minute increments and it is recommended that the skater wear full hockey gear with stick. Please contact our office for information about pricing and availability.

-Star 1 - 2: 2 - 4 days /wk

-Star 3 - 5: 3 - 5 days /wk

-Star 6 - 10: 4 - 5 days /wk

-Pre-Juvenile to Juvenile: 4 - 5

-Each skater is assigned to a base coach who will teach the skater private lessons. Private lessons are billed separately from ice time through the CTC office.

Do you like to skate and be part of a team? Then synchro skating might be for you! Previous synchro experience is not required, but skaters must have passed CanSkate stage 4. Fall is the time when skaters will be slotted into teams of various levels.
